Field Officer

The Housekeeping Field Officer oversees daily housekeeping operations across multiple sites. Primary goals include maintaining high quality standards, managing onsite teams, coordinating supply logistics, and serving as the primary liaison between field staff and senior management.Key Responsibilities

• Field Inspections & Quality Control: Perform regular, unannounced inspections of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure they meet prescribed cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Staff Management: Supervise, schedule, and assign daily tasks to housekeeping teams at various locations. This includes monitoring attendance and managing replacements for absences.
• Training & Onboarding: Educate and mentor new and existing staff on proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and the use of industrial equipment.
• Inventory & Logistics: Track stock levels of cleaning agents, linens, and equipment. Coordinate the distribution of supplies to different field sites and manage the department budget for these resources.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Ensure all staff follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
• Customer Service: Promptly address guest or client complaints and resolve service issues to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed daily or weekly field reports on site status, team performance, and maintenance needs for management review.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven history in a supervisory housekeeping role, ideally with exposure to multiple facility types (hospitality, healthcare, or corporate).
• Leadership: Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage decentralized teams effectively.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of industrial cleaning tools, sanitation standards, and chemical safety.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills for reporting to management and providing clear instructions to field staff.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and travel between sites for extended periods.
• Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office or specialized housekeeping management software for scheduling and inventory tracking.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management or relevant professional certifications is highly preferred.

Working Conditions

• This role involves regular travel between field sites.
• Flexibility is required to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
• Work may occasionally require assisting with heavy-duty cleaning tasks during staff shortages.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
