Field Application Engineer

Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Technical Support & Consultation: Work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and application needs. Provide expert guidance on selecting and integrating semiconductor products into customer designs. Assist customers in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Conduct technical feasibility analysis and recommend optimal solutions. 2. Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and propose suitable semiconductor solutions. Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to customers. Develop proof-of-concept (PoC) designs and assist customers in evaluating semiconductor components. Provide detailed technical documentation and application notes. 3. Post-Sales Support: Ensure smooth customer adoption of semiconductor products by providing ongoing support. Work with R&D and product development teams to resolve post-sales technical challenges. Assist customers in firmware/software/hardware integration and optimization. 4. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management: Develop strong relationships with key customer engineers and decision-makers. Act as a trusted technical advisor and advocate for the customer within the company. Gather customer feedback and provide insights to the product management and R&D teams for future product improvements. 5. Market & Technology Awareness: Stay updated on semiconductor industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies. Provide feedback to internal teams on market demands and customer requirements. Conduct competitive analysis to highlight the advantages of the companys products. 6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to develop go-to-market strategies. Contribute to the development of sales collateral, whitepapers, and technical case studies. Support trade shows, conferences, and customer visits with technical expertise.
