Female Receptionist

As a Receptionist at Saraswati College of Pharmacy in Gharuan, Mohali, your role will involve being the first point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors. You will create a welcoming environment and ensure efficient administrative operations at the university's front office. Key Responsibilities: - Greet and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors with courtesy and professionalism. - Answer incoming phone calls, direct them to appropriate departments, and take messages when necessary. - Manage front desk operations, including receiving and distributing mail and packages. - Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes as per security protocols. - Schedule appointments and maintain meeting room bookings. - Provide information about university programs, events, and facilities. - Assist in basic administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies. - Coordinate with other departments for smooth front office functioning. - Ensure the reception area is tidy, presentable, and well-stocked with necessary materials. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in a receptionist or front desk role. - Bachelor's degree preferred. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). - Pleasant personality, good interpersonal skills, and professional appearance. - Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality. In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, preferred skills include experience in educational institutions.
