Federal Risk Applications Data Engineer

As a FID Federal Risk Applications Data Engineer at NTT DATA, you will be responsible for developing systems serving as a data integration and feeding platform. Your main focus will be to ensure that calculation results and other data initiated in the Division reach downstream clients and meet all their requirements. The data you will be handling is critical in fulfilling regulatory requirements set by the FED, PRA, or BAFIN. You will also be involved in developing calculations of regulatory scenarios requested by the Market Risk Department. The main technical challenge for your team will be computational complexity. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop IT systems covering various aspects of the business run by the Institutional Securities (Fixed Income and Equities) division - Work closely with business users to learn about financial products and markets - Participate in the entire lifecycle of IT systems, including gathering requirements, refining user stories, designing solutions, and writing code - Work with a diverse technology landscape involving programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, data management systems, and CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins) **Qualifications Required:** - 8-12 years of experience in designing and building architecting highly resilient data platforms - Strong knowledge of data engineering, architecture, and data modeling - Experience with platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, and Kafka - Experience in building applications on cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) - Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, or Python with a willingness to learn other languages - OOP design skills with an understanding of Functional Programming concepts - Prior experience in working with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and following Agile methodologies - Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field of IT/Engineering - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Prior knowledge of financial products is an advantage At NTT DATA, you will have the opportunity to work for a firm that attracts top talents and offers a supportive, vibrant multinational environment.
