Federal Risk Applications Data Engineer

As a FID Federal Risk Applications Data Engineer at NTT DATA, your main responsibility will be to develop IT systems that serve as data integration and feeding platforms, ensuring that calculation results and other data reach downstream clients and meet all their requirements. You will be faced with challenges such as handling a high volume of data daily, interfacing with multiple systems, and developing calculations for regulatory scenarios. The data you work with is crucial for fulfilling regulatory requirements set by organizations like the FED, PRA, or BAFIN. Your technical skills will be put to the test in dealing with computational complexity. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with business users, gaining insights into how financial products and markets operate. You will be involved in every stage of the IT system lifecycle, from gathering requirements and designing solutions to writing code and supporting end-users. The technology landscape you will work on includes programming languages like Java, Scala, Python, data management systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
