Fashion Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Creation: Develop and create original designs for the women’s ethnic wear collection, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and market trends.
• Produce detailed fashion illustrations to visually represent design concepts.
• Create comprehensive tech sheets with specifications, materials, trims, and construction details.
• Construct patterns and draping techniques to test garment fit and ensure proper design execution.
• Oversee sewing and garment production processes, ensuring quality standards are met
• Research and analyze fashion trends, color forecasting, and ethnic style movements to inform seasonal collections
• Design with a strong focus on customer experience, ensuring comfort, wearability, and visual appeal.
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align designs with target customers’ preferences and needs.
• Work closely with other team members, including sample makers, and the production team to bring designs to life.
• Ensure final designs meet the standards of quality and craftsmanship before they go into production.
• Collaborate with photographers and stylists to achieve the desired visual aesthetic for marketing materials.

Required Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in fashion illustration (hand-drawing and digital).
• Strong knowledge of pattern making, draping, and garment construction techniques.
• Expertise in creating detailed tech packs with specifications for garment production.
• Skilled in sewing and garment finishing.
• Ability to work with CAD software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW) and other design tools.

Soft Skills:

• Trend Forecasting: Ability to predict and interpret fashion trends, particularly in ethnic wear.
• Color Psychology: In-depth knowledge of how color affects customer perception and emotional connection to the design.
• Customer-Centric Design: Ability to design with a focus on customer experience, ensuring comfort, style, and functionality.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
