Role Overview:

Join the Masumi Mewawalla Group and be part of an innovative, design-driven luxury house spanning couture, ready-to-wear, and elevated essentials. We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented fresher with a strong sense of aesthetics, an eye for trends, and a willingness to learn the art of couture craftsmanship and modern prêt techniques.

This role offers exposure to high-fashion design processes, bridal couture development, seasonal prêt collections, and luxury retail styling — working directly under the Creative Director and design team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the senior design team in concept development, moodboards, and collection planning.

• Research global trends, fabrics, silhouettes, and luxury embellishment techniques relevant to MM couture and Emblaze prêt.

• Support in sketching designs, flat drawings, embroidery placements, and motif development.

• Collaborate with the sampling team for pattern making, draping, and finishing details.

• Co-ordinate with production and karigars to ensure precision in hand embroidery, crystal work, and couture detailing.

• Assist during photoshoots, fashion previews, celebrity fittings, and styling sessions.

• Maintain design archives, lookbooks, swatches, and embroidery references for future collections.

Desired Profile:

• Freshers or 0–1 year of relevant experience in luxury fashion / couture / prêt.

• Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design from NIFT, Pearl, SOFT, INIFD, or similar institutes.

• Strong sketching and illustration skills — both hand-drawn and digital.

• Passion for luxury detailing: crystals, sequins, embroidery, and fine craftsmanship.

• Up-to-date with global and Indian fashion trends, silhouettes, and consumer behaviour.

• High aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail.

Key Skills:

• Design Sensibility → Balance of couture artistry and modern prêt minimalism.

• Technical Knowledge → Fabrics, embroidery techniques, pattern making, and draping.

• Creative Ideation → Translating moodboards into wearable, luxury-ready designs.

• Collaboration → Work closely with design, production, and marketing teams for seamless execution.
