The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of design techniques, current fashion trends, and consumer preferences. They must be capable of creating original, innovative, and market-relevant clothing designs across various categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Research current fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and techniques to create innovative and appealing designs
• Design and develop original clothing concepts across various categories (e.g., casual, formal, ethnic, fusion)
• Create detailed sketches, mood boards, and technical specifications for each design
• Select appropriate fabrics, embellishments, and materials aligned with the design concept and budget
• Collaborate with pattern makers, tailors, and production teams to ensure accurate sample development
• Oversee the entire design lifecycle—from concept to final product—ensuring quality and fit standards
• Adapt designs based on market feedback, sales data, and evolving customer preferences
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors and industry movements to stay ahead of trends
• Attend fashion shows, exhibitions, and industry events for inspiration and market insights
• Coordinate with the marketing and merchandising teams for product launches, campaigns, and styling
