Fashion Designer

As a Fashion Designer at Chandan Retail Private Limited, your role will involve conceptualizing and developing collections for men, women, and kids across various categories such as ethnic wear, casual wear, and seasonal ranges. Your strong multi-category design capability and trend understanding will be crucial in maintaining a cohesive in-house brand identity. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design collections for men, women, and kids in line with brand requirements. - Create mood boards, colour palettes, season themes, and design stories. - Develop design sketches, CADs, and technical sheets for each category. - Ensure consistency in the brand's design language across all age groups. - Identify suitable fabrics, trims, labels, zippers, buttons, etc., in alignment with brand aesthetics. - Work closely with sampling units and production teams for accurate execution of designs. - Stay updated with fashion trends and conduct market research for mens, womens, and kids segments. - Ensure all garments follow brand style guidelines and prepare seasonal collection presentations for management approval. - Maintain tech packs, costing sheets, and track sampling status and production timelines. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors degree/diploma in Fashion Design or related field. - 14+ years of experience in apparel design, with multi-category experience being an advantage. - Proficiency in design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW. - Strong knowledge of garment construction and a good sense of colours, patterns, silhouettes in commercial fashion. - Good communication and coordination skills. Chandan Retail Private Limited offers a salary range of 30,000 to 35,000 per month for this full-time, permanent position.
