Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Fashion Design Intern based in Chennai, with flexibility for some remote work. The intern will assist in designing apparel and creating innovative embroidery designs, participate in trend research, material selection, and fashion styling. Daily tasks will include collaborating with the design team, preparing technical sketches, and supporting the production process to bring creative concepts to life, while ensuring high-quality output that aligns with Statigon’s brand values.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Fashion Design, creativity in sketching, and ability to conceptualize original designs
• Experience with Graphic Design and understanding of visual composition tools
• Knowledge of Fashion Styling and an ability to align trends with brand identity
• Familiarity with Textiles and Sewing for fabric selection and hands-on production
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for innovative fashion trends
• Ability to communicate ideas effectively and work collaboratively within a team
• A degree or current enrollment in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred
