As a Fashion Designer in our boutique near Calicut International Airport, your role involves meeting with clients to cater to bespoke or made-to-order requests. You will offer styling advice and garment customization suggestions to ensure that the designs align with the clients' tastes and preferences. Researching fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and techniques will be crucial to developing innovative and stylish designs for our boutique's seasonal collections. Key Responsibilities: - Create original sketches, drawings, and mood boards to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts. - Develop design concepts based on customer preferences, current trends, and market demands. - Design complete collections that cater to the boutique's target demographic and are seasonally appropriate. - Ensure all designs meet quality standards in terms of fit, finish, and fabrication. - Work closely with pattern makers and seamstresses to ensure garments are constructed according to specifications. - Oversee fittings and make necessary adjustments to achieve the perfect fit and finish. - Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure designs align with the brand's image and appeal to the target market. - Support the selection of new items for in-store and online displays. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Fashion Designer or a similar role in the fashion industry. - Strong knowledge of fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and techniques. - Proficiency in sketching, drawing, and creating mood boards. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines. - Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
