As an Air Conditioning Testing Engineer at koda Auto Volkswagen India (SAVWIPL) in Pune, your primary responsibility will be to conduct air conditioning testing at component level, system level, and car level. You will be in charge of preparing the test matrix in alignment with the component supplier's requirements. Your role will involve creating testing time plans, tracking all testing activities, monitoring progress, and identifying risks proactively. Additionally, you will oversee vehicle level testing, collaborate with EG and ASL teams for test planning, and align test results with the headquarters. You will be tasked with preparing release documents, ensuring compliance with safety standards and homologation requirements, and fulfilling checklist requirements for BMG and K-release. As the Air Conditioning Testing Engineer, you will have the authority to make decisions on failures, test planning, execution, and repetition based on test results. You will also provide guidance to suppliers for failure analysis and testing process optimization. To excel in this role, you should possess expertise in air conditioning component and system testing, knowledge of raw materials and failure criteria, understanding of testing and validation criteria, and the ability to think broadly. Proficiency in CAN and LIN protocols, software handling, and off-board Diagnostic Systems on the vehicle level will be essential. You should be a self-starter, team player, and capable of interpreting and analyzing test results and data. Your key responsibilities will include coordinating and leading the Sub-group, setting test parameters, acting as a single point of contact for suppliers, analyzing and executing testing efficiently, creating technical documentation, collaborating with component development teams, implementing testing milestones, and managing project timelines and costs effectively.
