Faculty Teacher Education

ITARI is seeking applications for the position of Faculty in Teacher Education to instruct and guide pre-service and in-service educators enrolled in postgraduate programs. ITARI, located at the Indus International School campus in Bengaluru, is dedicated to developing educational leaders through practice-centred teacher education, school-based immersion, and research. The programs offered include postgraduate modules at EQF Level 7 in collaboration with UK universities, with pathways that align with the IB Educator Certificate (IBEC). As a Faculty member at ITARI, your responsibilities will include teaching and co-designing postgraduate modules such as PGDE / MA.Ed, mentoring teacher-learners during school immersion, supervising K12 teacher-education research, leading assessment design and quality assurance, collaborating with Indus schools to curate exemplary IB-aligned practice, and contributing to outreach, CPD, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Education or a closely related field, experience in K12 schooling and teacher training with a preference for IB experience, strong scholarship and writing skills, a design-thinking mindset, research orientation, and a drive to innovate. Additionally, the candidate should have the ability to collaborate effectively with education technology, demonstrate excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder skills.
