Factory Operator

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Factory Operator to join our DTF (Direct-to-Film) garment printing production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating printing equipment, heat pressing designs onto garments, and ensuring high-quality finishing through folding and packing. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, organized, and committed to efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

DTF Printing & Production:

Operate DTF printers to print design sheets according to production schedules.

Monitor printing quality and ensure colors and details match required standards.

Load materials (film, ink, powder) and troubleshoot basic printing issues.

Maintain cleanliness and functionality of printing equipment.

Heat Pressing:

Align and transfer DTF prints onto t-shirts (or other garments) using a heat press machine.

Ensure correct temperature, pressure, and timing for consistent results.

Inspect garments for correct placement and quality of print transfer.

Finishing & Packing:

Fold garments neatly to company standards after printing and pressing.

Pack finished products accurately, including tagging and labelling if required.

Organize completed orders for delivery or storage.

Quality Control & Safety:

Perform quality checks at each stage of production to ensure customer satisfaction.

Follow health and safety guidelines, including handling heat machines and chemicals safely.

Report any equipment issues or production delays to the supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required:

Basic experience in garment production or factory operations (training can be provided).

Ability to operate machinery (printing or heat press) with care and attention to detail.

Good hand-eye coordination and ability to follow design placement guidelines.

Physically able to stand for long periods, lift light to medium weight boxes, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

Experience in DTF printing, screen printing, or other garment printing methods.

Familiarity with heat press machines and basic printer maintenance.

Knowledge of garment handling and packing standards.
