Job Description

Position Title:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary medical care and first aid to factory workers and staff.
  • Maintain medical records and health history of employees as per statutory norms.
  • Conduct periodic health checkups, pre-employment medicals, and maintain health records.
  • Handle workplace injuries, illnesses, and emergencies with prompt medical attention.
  • Monitor and promote employee health, hygiene, and preventive healthcare.
  • Guide management on health hazards, occupational diseases, and safety-related issues.
  • Maintain stock and records of first aid materials and medicines.
  • Ensure compliance with

    Factories Act

    and other statutory norms related to industrial health.
  • Conduct awareness programs on occupational health, hygiene, and lifestyle diseases.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • MBBS from a recognized medical college.
  • Certification in Occupational Health (AFIH or equivalent) preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical compliance as per Factory Act.
  • Good communication and record-keeping skills.
  • Empathetic and prompt in handling medical issues.
