Cardiac Surgeon

Role & Responsibilities:

• Perform adult and pediatric cardiac surgeries including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and other heart procedures.
  
• Evaluate patients and plan appropriate surgical treatment.
  
• Manage pre-operative assessment and post-operative care.
  
• Handle cardiac emergencies and critical cases in ICU and OT.
  
• Ensure safe surgical practices and maintain sterile techniques.
  
• Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthetists, and other team members for comprehensive patient care.
  
• Monitor patients progress and manage complications effectively.
  
• Maintain accurate patient records and surgical documentation.
  
• Guide and train junior doctors, residents, and support staff.
  
• Participate in academic activities, research, and clinical discussions.
  
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
  
• Stay updated with new surgical techniques and advancements in cardiac care.
