Facilities Business Support Officer

Your primary duties will involve overseeing the full line management of General Services Supervisors at Borders General Hospital and other sites within the community. Additionally, you will provide crucial administrative and project support to supervisors and managers within the department. Your role will also entail organizing relevant management meetings for Facilities staff, which include domestics, Porters, and Drivers at Borders General Hospital and across the community. In this position, you will play a vital role in inputting and analyzing departmental data, generating reports for management, and aiding in project planning and implementation, including end-user support. Moreover, you should be aware that due to upcoming legislative changes from April 1, 2025, there may be adjustments to the level of criminal records check required for this role, potentially involving the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. To be eligible for this role, you must ensure that you possess the necessary permission to work in the United Kingdom as required by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.
