Facade Planning Engineer

The Facade Planning Engineer is responsible for developing and managing project schedules, planning production sequences, coordinating facade engineering and installation activities, and ensuring timely delivery of all faade-related works

Responsibilities :-

1. Planning & Scheduling

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules for all faade works using software such as Primavera P6/MS Project.
  
• Create WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) specific to faade packages.
  
• Prepare baseline schedules and recovery plans when needed.
  
• Monitor progress and identify risks, delays, and opportunities for schedule optimization.
  

2. Coordination

• Collaborate with faade design teams to align engineering deliverables with project timelines.
  
• Coordinate with procurement and supply-chain teams to ensure timely material ordering, fabrication, and delivery.
  
• Work closely with production planners and factory teams to align manufacturing plans with site needs.
  
• Interface with site installation teams to track progress and resolve sequencing issues.
  

3. Monitoring & Reporting

• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, including look-ahead schedules.
  
• Track fabrication and installation KPIs and compare actual performance against the schedule.
  
• Conduct delay analysis and prepare time-impact assessments.
  
• Highlight critical path activities and propose mitigation strategies.
  

4. Technical & Project Support

• Review shop drawings, method statements, and installation sequences for planning input.
  
• Support project managers in developing faade execution strategies.
  
• Participate in project meetings (internal and client).
  
• Ensure planning compliance with contractual requirements.
  

5. Risk Management

• Identify potential scheduling risks related to design changes, supply delays, production bottlenecks, and site conditions.
  
• Recommend preventive actions and schedule adjustments to maintain project timelines.
