Facade Design Engineer

Role Overview: As a Facade Designer at KALCO Alu-Systems Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in the architectural field by focusing on the external appearance and functionality of buildings. Your responsibilities will include design development, technical detailing, material selection, regulatory compliance, collaboration, coordination, and problem-solving to ensure the facade aligns with the architectural vision, aesthetic goals, and functional requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Create and develop the exterior design of buildings, ensuring alignment with architectural vision, aesthetic goals, and functional requirements. - Work on detailed drawings and specifications for the facade, addressing technical aspects such as structural support, weather resistance, thermal performance, and energy efficiency. - Research and select appropriate materials that meet durability, maintenance, and aesthetic requirements. - Ensure facade design compliance with local building codes, regulations, and standards. - Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to integrate facade design with overall building project. - Address construction process issues like unforeseen design challenges or material limitations by adjusting designs, proposing alternatives, or finding solutions to technical problems. Qualifications Required: - Relevant experience in the Facade Industry. - Hands-on experience in designing Curtain Wall, Structural Glazing, Spider Glazing, etc. - Proficiency in software such as STADD Pro, Revit, and 3D modeling. - Knowledge of sustainable design practices, materials, and ability to incorporate energy-efficient solutions into facade designs. - Educational Qualification: Graduate [B.Tech/B.E- Mechanical/Civil] and diploma/certification in AutoCAD. - Work Experience: 5-12 years of relevant experience.
