Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Fabrication & Machining Supervisor to oversee shop-floor operations, ensure production quality, and manage manpower for fabrication and machining activities. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on knowledge and the ability to lead teams to meet production targets safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day fabrication and machining operations
• Interpret engineering drawings and ensure work is carried out as per specifications
• Plan and monitor production schedules to meet delivery timelines
• Coordinate with production, quality, and stores teams
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and housekeeping
• Handle manpower allocation, shift planning, and productivity improvement
• Monitor machine utilization, tooling, and consumables
• Support inspections and customer or third-party quality audits
• Report daily production status and issues to management

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in fabrication and machining supervision
• Strong knowledge of:
• Structural fabrication and welding processes
• CNC & conventional machining operations
• Measuring instruments and quality checks
• Ability to read and understand GA & fabrication drawings
• Experience handling skilled and semi-skilled workforce
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Diploma / ITI / Engineering qualification preferred

Preferred Experience

• Experience in heavy fabrication, pressure parts, oil & gas, power, or engineering projects
• Exposure to customer inspections and documentation
