Fabrication Head

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing and planning heavy metal structures or components using CAD software. Additionally, you will select appropriate metals, employ various fabrication techniques, ensure quality control, analyze and troubleshoot issues, prioritize safety, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Develop detailed plans, blueprints, and specifications using CAD software. - Choose metals based on mechanical properties, cost-effectiveness, and application requirements. - Utilize fabrication techniques like welding, cutting, bending, and machining. - Implement quality assurance processes to meet standards. - Analyze and troubleshoot fabrication issues, providing innovative solutions. - Adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety. - Collaborate with design, production, and quality assurance teams for seamless workflows. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. - 5-10 years of experience in heavy fabrication or a related field. - Proficiency in CAD software, welding processes, and mechanical engineering principles. - Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Additional Details: The company desires candidates with certifications like AWS Certified Welding Engineer or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, experience with heavy fabrication equipment (CNC machines, welding robots), and knowledge of industry standards such as ASME and AWS codes.
