Work closely with clients, architects, and project managers to understand design requirements. Select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware. Create production-ready drawings and cutting lists for manufacturing. Coordinate with the production team to ensure feasibility and functionality of designs. Revise and update designs based on feedback and site conditions. Stay updated with current trends and materials in the modular furniture industry.
Cut List for Production Prepare detailed cut lists based on approved drawings and shop drawings. Optimize board cutting to minimize wastage. Coordinate cut lists with CNC Vendor. Material Calculation Calculate material requirements for hardware, and accessories. Prepare BOQ and material consumption reports. Monitor material stock vs. production requirement. Plan material procurement to avoid shortages or excess inventory. Coordinate with purchase and store teams for timely availability of materials. Skills & Knowledge Required: Strong knowledge of modular furniture manufacturing. Understanding of MS Material , hardware, and fittings.
