Fabrication Fitter

Job Title: Fabrication Fitter and Welder Description: We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Fitter and Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings, fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components to exact specifications. You will use various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to produce high-quality welds on a range of materials such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Key Responsibilities: Interpret and work from detailed engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols. Fabricate and assemble components by cutting, bending, and welding materials as per project requirements. Use tools like cutting torches, saws, and grinders to prepare metal for welding. Inspect and ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards. Operate hand and power tools, welding equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely project completion. Requirements: Proven experience as a Fabrication Fitter and Welder or similar role. Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, and stick welding). Strong ability to read blueprints and understand welding symbols. Knowledge of safety practices and quality control standards in fabrication. Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and teamwork ability.
