FAAS - Manager

As an Assurance Manager at EY, you will have the opportunity to work closely with FAAS Senior Managers and leadership on clients and engagements across Americas and EMEIA to provide end-to-end Record to Report services. Your role will involve ensuring the timeliness and quality of work as per project requirements for the FAAS team, requiring strong accounting knowledge under IFRS/US GAAP. You will lead a team of 6-10 members, including engagement PMO activities, and be responsible for various financial close and reporting activities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books - Perform financial close and consolidation - Process journal entries, allocations, and period end adjustments - Reconcile GL accounts, perform consolidation, and process elimination - Perform fixed assets and capital project accounting - Monitor and track capital projects and budget spending - Ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs, and manage escalations if necessary - Lead team members in detailed review of work performed - Build necessary documents like SOPs and end-user training materials - Support the development and management of relationships with clients - Engage in hiring team members and support business development activities - Demonstrate a good understanding of accounting concepts and apply knowledge effectively **Skills And Attributes For Success:** - Strong knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP, UK GAAP - Extensive experience in services like business unit/entity level reporting, record to report, consolidation support, etc. - Strong knowledge of Lease accounting - Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues - Experience with SAP and other ERP packages - Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office - Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice **Qualifications:** - CA, ACCA (UK), CPA, or Regular MBA from a reputed institute - 7-12 years of relevant experience in Entity/BU reporting, financial statement close process support, and MIS reporting - SAP S4/Hana public or private cloud understanding is an advantage - Knowledge of data analytics/visualization tools is a plus Join EY to contribute to building a better working world, where diverse teams in over 150 countries provide trust through assurance and help clients grow, transform, and operate across various services.,
