Eye OT Nurse

Qualifications: B.Sc Nursing or GNM

Experience: 2-4 years (Eye OT Experience preffered)

Preparation of OT – Ensuring that the operating room is clean, sterilized, and properly set up.

Equipment Setup – Checking and preparing surgical instruments, anesthesia machines, sterilizers, and other OT equipment.

Assisting Surgeons & Technicians – Providing necessary instruments and ensuring all equipment functions properly before surgery.

Patient Preparation – Helping in positioning the patient and preparing them for surgery as per medical guidelines.

Instrument Handling – Assisting surgeons by passing instruments, sutures, and necessary equipment during procedures.

Maintaining Aseptic Conditions – Ensuring sterility and infection control measures are followed.

Monitoring Equipment – Keeping track of machines like ventilators, suction units, and other devices during surgery.

Emergency Response – Assisting in case of complications by providing necessary support to surgeons and anesthetists.

Cleaning & Sterilization – Disposing of used materials properly and sterilizing surgical instruments for future use.

Patient Transfer – Assisting in shifting patients from the operation theatre to the recovery room.

Inventory Management – Maintaining stock of surgical instruments, disposables, and OT supplies.

Record Keeping – Documenting surgical procedures, equipment usage, and patient details for hospital records.

Assisting in Minor Procedures – Helping in dressing wounds, setting up minor surgeries, or emergency procedures.

Training & Support – Guiding junior staff and ensuring smooth OT workflow.

Coordination with Medical Team – Communicating with surgeons, technicians, and anesthetists to ensure efficient operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
