Export Manager (Apparel industry)

The position of Manager - Export Logistics requires a minimum of 12-18 years of experience in the Garment/Apparel/Textile Industry. The ideal candidate should have a Graduation qualification and be based in Arekere, Bengaluru. As the Assistant Manager - Logistics, your key responsibilities will include: - Negotiating air prepaid rates with the forwarder, aligning them with market rates, and securing internal approval - Ensuring timely handovers with the forwarder or CY containers gate-in at the port to ensure adherence to planned vessel schedules - Exploring vessel options through different ports to accommodate any production delays or late FI situations to meet the buyer's approved ETA destination - Monitoring volume forecasts for each buyer and overseeing data flow from Marketing and the factory.
