Job Title: Vision Software & Hardware Expert

Role Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Vision Software & Hardware Expert with deep technical

knowledge across industrial and AI-based vision systems, camera hardware, and edge

computing platforms. The role demands a professional who can lead sensor evaluation, Sensor

integration, HW communication architecture design, and large-scale integration for Tolling,

MLFF (Multi-Lane Free Flow) and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)

The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of hands-on engineering expertise, system-level

integration knowledge, and strategic technology foresight to deliver performance-driven,

reliable, and scalable vision ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technology scouting and benchmarking for cameras, radars, LiDARs, and edge

processors.

• Conduct PoC evaluations and field trials, defining performance criteria for accuracy,

latency, and reliability.

• Design end-to-end vision and sensor integration architectures across analytics,

edge, and backend systems.

• Prepare vendor comparison matrices, cost-benefit analyses, and certification

readiness reports.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize ANPR, vehicle classification, and

enforcement accuracy.

• Contribute to the strategic technology roadmap for MLFF and ITS advancements.
• Contribute to overall system design & solutioning including Sensors, connectors,

switches, sizing etc.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience:
• 10+ years in computer vision, imaging systems, or industrial vision integration.
• Proven experience in Smart City projects or large-scale surveillance projects
• Involved in ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) projects.
• Hands-on experience with multiple global camera brands, recognized video

analytics platforms, and video management systems (VMS).

• domain knowledge in radar and RFID technologies, with working knowledge

of LiDAR and related MLFF sensors.

• Demonstrated expertise in system integration across heterogeneous vision and

sensor systems.

• Technical Expertise:
• Vision Frameworks: OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorRT, DeepStream, NVIDIA

Jetson, YOLO (preferably for ANPR applications).

• Hardware: CCTV cameras, LiDARs, radars, IR/thermal imaging systems.
• Edge & AI: GPU-based inference optimization, sensor fusion, edge deployment,

and analytics acceleration.

• Communication Protocols: MQTT, ONVIF, RTSP, TCP/UDP, RestAPI.
• Strong understanding of MLFF, ANPR, vehicle classification, and ITS

ecosystems.

• Proven ability to evaluate vendors, design sensor architectures, and optimize

field performance.

• Excellent analytical, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Education

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or

related field.

Work Mode

• Hybrid / On-site, based on project testing and field evaluation needs.
• Willingness to travel for sensor trials, vendor visits, and on-site installations and

integrations
