Position Overview : The Boeing Company is currently looking for an Experienced Systems Engineer - PLM position seeking to design, develop and test new computing systems and applications across PLM to facilitate integration of new technologies and the transition from legacy systems to support business requirements. This position reports directly to Systems Engineering Manager at Bangalore , India. This position requires you to be highly skilled PLM / PDM Specialist with a strong background in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, specifically Dassault Systems' 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform with hand son experience in AI/ML technology . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enhancing PLM solution with modern AI/ML capabilities to drive automation, data insight and intelligent workflows. This role involves planning, executing, and managing the PLM systems ensuring data integrity, system performance, and user satisfaction while leveraging scripting and automation for efficiency. A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as these positions will focus on working directly with the Manager to deliver Engineering statements of work to meet the organizational goals. Position Responsibilities: Design and deploy engineering systems tools and process architecture across PLM Provide systems integration expertise and related support to the entire systems engineering team Proficient in the design, development and use of multiple architecture frameworks, tools, and methodologies Ability to analyze, design, code, test and debug existing and new programs to support the customization of the Enterprise level 3DX PLM. Proficient in CATIA V5/V6 and 3Dexperience and 3D Part modeling using parametric relations. Ability to identify and implement model-based architecture and engineering methods and standards Coordinate with various programs to determine Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Training and Tool Needs. Proficient with Cameo Modelling Demonstrate excellence in use of Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and systems modeling methods with expertise in RFLP architecture. Design and develop CAD custom applications development, testing and deployment for CATIA V5/3DX CATIA using C#. Candidate must have strong attention to detail and knowledge on Mechanical Design rules. Work as a local team of PLM Engineers, provide daily direction of tasks and assignments. Provide team activity report to the MBSE Manager. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. This position requires 9+ years of Systems Engineering experience with the exposure to electrical, mechanical, and systems Tools and Processes. This position requires 4+ years of demonstrated experience on 3DExperience and automation tools and methodologies. Integration of 3DX with other enterprise systems and tools, Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to define migration requirements and timelines Experience in Python based tools, and APIs for PLM/PDM data processing, automation and analytics. Plan and execute the migration of PLM systems to the cloud. Provide training to end-users/peers on 3DX, new cloud functionalities, and automation tools. Implement automation solutions to streamline PLM processes and improve efficiency. Develop and maintain scripts using for automating tasks within the PDM/PLM environment. Troubleshoot and optimize existing scripts and automation workflows. Experience with Dashboard widget creation/customization. Experience in web apps using Tomcat and HTML, Java Script and J2EE technologies. Analyze, design, code, test and debug existing and new programs to support the customization of the Enterprise level 3DX PLM. Develop software Integrations between 3D Experience platform and existing systems using web services and other related development tools. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Messaging Queues, DevOps, Continuous Integration and cloud technologies. Must have experience working with cross-functional teams spread across multiple products and locations. Communication strong written and verbal communication skills required. Candidates must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment. Candidate must have strong attention to detail. Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur, consistently following through on details while driving innovation as well as issue resolution Mentors junior team members on technical aspects. The selected individual will also be responsible to provide support to development of internal competency and resources for critical skill sets. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): INCOSE certification on Systems Engineering is an added advantage. Proven experience in cloud migration projects, preferably with PLM systems. Solid understanding of PDM processes and best practices. Extensive experience with Visual Basic Script (VS) and automation tools. Experience with 3DX Dev App Suite (CAA), EKL, VB Script Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Experience with automation frameworks and tools. Good to have functional experience of product development in Aerospace/Automotive domain. C++, C#, Python, Jython, Asp.Net, Shell scripting. Experience with APIs(REST/SOAP), web services Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of Agile development practices. Hands-on experience with Database (SQL/NoSQL) Understanding about Cloud . Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master + 8 years' related work experience.)
