Experienced Publishing Professional – Production & Costing Lead

About the Role
We need an experienced publishing professional who can independently manage complete book projects—from costing to delivery. This is not a training role. You must have worked in a publishing house and know the business inside out.

What You'll Do

• Manage end-to-end book publishing projects independently
• Create detailed cost estimates and production budgets (primary responsibility)
• Negotiate with printers, suppliers, and vendors
• Control print buying and optimize costs
• Track timelines, quality, and deliveries
• Ensure projects finish on time and within budget

You Must Have

• Publishing house experience (non-negotiable)
• Proven track record managing book projects A to Z
• Strong costing and budgeting skills
• Direct experience with printers and production vendors
• Ability to work independently without supervision
