The job of an Expeditor involves overseeing the expediting process of static/heavy equipment for the Oil & Gas sector. You should have hands-on experience in expediting both at the desk and in the field. A strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lead/lag time calculation/assessment, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role. Your responsibilities will include dealing with multiple stakeholders, resolving issues promptly, preparing progress reports in line with client requirements, and anticipating gaps while ensuring timely follow-up for closure. Effective coordination with all stakeholders is crucial to ensure on-time deliveries. Additionally, the role may require travel as per client needs. To qualify for this position, you should have 10 to 15 years of relevant experience and hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (BE/BTech) in Mechanical or any related field.
