Your Responsibilities Will Be
Order Tracking & Follow-Up
- Ensures that materials, equipment, and services are delivered according to the project timeline.
- Tracks critical path items and flags potential delays that could impact project milestones.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination
- Acts as the liaison between the project team and suppliers.
- Expedites purchase orders, manufacturing, and delivery processes to meet project deadlines.
Progress Monitoring
- Maintains detailed logs of order status, production progress, and shipping schedules.
- Provides regular updates to project managers and procurement teams.
Risk Mitigation
- Identifies risks related to late deliveries or supply chain disruptions.
- Works proactively to resolve issues before they affect the project schedule.
Documentation & Compliance
- Expedite technical documentation (e.g., datasheets, drawings, inspection reports).
- Ensure timely submission and approval of vendor documents as per ITP and MDR.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Works closely with: Project Managers to align on priorities. Procurement to ensure PO accuracy and supplier performance. Engineering to confirm technical specifications. QC and Logistics to manage FATs, inspections and transport, customs clearance
Education & Experience
- Education: Degree in any related field.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Knowledge of supply chain principles and logistics, Good knowledge of Fabrication activities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong understanding of Oil & gas/Industrial/water treatment project workflows.
- Familiarity with industry codes (API, ASME, ISO).
- Minimum 5 Years Experience in Expediting role.
