Job Description

Role Overview:

Own end-to-end merchandising for export apparel programs-buyer communication, costing, samples, RM approvals, production handover, factory follow-ups, and shipment planning-ensuring on-time delivery and quality adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

Correspond with buyers on package dates, costing, and sample availability.
Prepare, update, and compile cost sheets.
Review samples (construction, fall, fit, drape, wash) before dispatch.
Ensure raw materials and style approvals are secured in time to meet package dates.
Prepare production package (checklist, pattern mini-marker, approved sample with comments).
Sign off approvals for fabric and trims.
Conduct weekly review of production chart and share feedback.
Check & approve trims swatch card post PPC review. (Intentionally reserved numbering in source JD)
