Executive Sourcing & Merchandising

As an Executive Sourcing & Merchandising, your role involves developing and implementing a strategic sourcing framework to enhance the supply chain's competitive advantage. You will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, negotiating with suppliers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives and operational requirements. Additionally, you will monitor vendor performance, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and explore innovative sourcing solutions to adapt to changing market conditions and consumer needs. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a strategic sourcing framework to enhance the supply chain's competitive advantage. - Manage vendor relationships to ensure alignment with the company's quality, cost, and delivery standards. - Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and drive cost efficiency across the sourcing process. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives and operational requirements. - Monitor and review vendor performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain service quality. - Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures to uphold company standards and reduce risks. - Continuously explore innovative sourcing solutions to adapt to changing market conditions and consumer needs. - Utilize exceptional negotiation skills to secure cost-effective procurement deals. - Conduct market research to identify sourcing opportunities and strategies effectively. - Build strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams through effective communication and negotiation. - Stay updated on trends in the lingerie market and understand consumer preferences in lingerie and intimate apparel. - Develop and maintain productive vendor relationships to foster long-term partnerships and collaborations. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required. Experience with sourcing/merchandising software is a plus. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in business, Fashion Merchandising, Textile Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in sourcing, merchandising, or product development within the lingerie or apparel industry. - Predominantly knits experience is preferred.
