Job Description

Job Purpose:

To prepare accurate solar project drawings (layout, SLDs, structure drawings, etc.) using AutoCAD or other design tools like Solar Ladder/ARKA 360/ELLUME 360/ENACT Solar Etc as per site survey data and project requirements.

Role & responsibilities

Prepare
AutoCAD drawings
for solar rooftop and ground-mounted projects.
Develop
site layout plans
,
single-line diagrams (SLDs)
,
mounting structure drawings
, and
cable routing layouts
.
Modify and update drawings based on site survey data, structural changes, and client feedback.
Coordinate with the
Site Survey Team
and
Project Engineers
for drawing accuracy.
Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings.
Assist in
design calculations
(e.g., panel spacing, shadow analysis, tilt angles) when required.
Support the preparation of
As-Built Drawings
after project completion.

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering or related field.
13 years of experience in solar or electrical project drawings.
Proficient in
AutoCAD
,
SketchUp
, or similar software.
Understanding of
solar system layouts
,
electrical schematics
, and
design standards
.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
