Executive - EHS

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor

  EHS policies, procedures, and protocols

  for the IWM facility.
• Ensure compliance with

  CPCB, SPCB, and local regulatory norms

  , especially related to hazardous and bio-medical waste.
• Conduct

  risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety audits

  across plant operations.
• Provide guidance on

  safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals, hazardous materials, and bio-medical waste

  .
• Train employees and contractors on

  chemical safety, PPE usage, emergency procedures, and environmental compliance

  .
• Monitor and report on

  air, water, soil, and hazardous waste parameters

  , ensuring environmental limits are met.
• Investigate

  accidents, near-misses, and chemical incidents

  ; implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain

  EHS documentation, records, and statutory reports

  for regulatory authorities.
• Drive

  continuous improvement initiatives

  to reduce EHS risks and enhance compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies for

  environmental permits, audits, and certifications

  .

Preferred candidate profile

• Certification in EHS / ISO 14001 / OHSAS 45001
