Executive - Debt Management Services - Rural
About The Role
The Executive - Debt Management Services - Rural is responsible for overseeing and executing debt recovery and management processes in rural regions. This role ensures the effective implementation of debt collection strategies, maintains strong relationships with rural clients, and supports the organization’s financial health through timely recoveries. Key Responsibilities

Manage and monitor outstanding debts in rural portfolios, ensuring timely recoveries and resolution of overdue accounts.

Conduct field visits to rural clients for payment follow-ups, negotiation, and collections.

Develop and implement effective debt collection strategies tailored to rural markets.

Maintain accurate records of collection activities, client interactions, and account statuses.

Build and nurture relationships with rural customers to encourage timely repayments and reduce default rates.

Collaborate with internal teams, credit officers, and legal departments for escalated collection cases.

Prepare regular reports on collection performance, outstanding accounts, and recovery rates.

Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical practices in all recovery activities.

Provide feedback and insights to management for process improvements and risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Proven experience in debt management, collections, or financial services, preferably in rural markets.

Strong understanding of rural economies, customer behavior, and financial challenges in rural regions.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and travel extensively within assigned rural areas.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and experience with debt management software is an advantage.

Work Environment

Field-based role requiring regular travel to rural locations.

May involve working irregular hours based on client availability.

Collaborative team environment with frequent interaction with clients and internal departments.
