Executive - Debt Management Services - Consumer
Job Purpose
The Debt Management Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating the recovery of overdue payments on loans or credit accounts. Duties and Responsibilities

Achieve collections targets by visiting customers or agencies.

Monitor performance against set parameters and provide regular updates.

Ensure legal guidelines are complied with while repossessing products.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Provide regular reports on collection activities and performance.

Handle escalations promptly and effectively to resolve issues.

Manage Daily Risk Reports (DRR).

Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.

Track cases individually.

Ensure resolution as per Annual Operating Plan (AOP) within agreed timelines.

Portfolio management.

Develop and execute debt collection strategies.

Achieve set targets.

Ensure regulatory compliance.

Conduct reporting and analysis.

Manage risk.

Provide team leadership.

Manage vendors.

Coordinate with internal and external clients.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Experience in collections or debt management, preferably in the consumer finance sector.

Ability to monitor and achieve performance targets.

Understanding of legal guidelines related to collections and repossession.

Proficiency in record-keeping and reporting.

Strong problem-solving skills for handling escalations.

Experience in daily risk management and strategy development.

Strong portfolio management skills.

Familiarity with regulatory compliance and reporting requirements.

Leadership experience in managing teams and vendors.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.
