Job Description

Executive - Debt Management Services - Consumer
Job Purpose
The Debt Management Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating the recovery of overdue payments on loans or credit accounts. Duties and Responsibilities

Achieve collections target by visiting customers and/or agencies.

Monitor performance against set parameters and provide regular updates.

Ensure legal guidelines are complied with while repossessing products.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Provide regular reports on collection activities and performance.

Handle escalations promptly and effectively to resolve issues.

Daily Risk Report (DRR) management.

Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.

Case-to-case tracking.

Ensure resolution as per AOP within agreed timelines.

Portfolio management.

Debt collection strategy development and execution.

Achievement of collection targets.

Regulatory compliance.

Reporting and analysis.

Risk management.

Team leadership.

Vendor management.

Coordinate with internal and external clients.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Experience in collections, debt management, or related financial services roles.

Understanding of regulatory guidelines and compliance related to debt recovery.

Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Ability to lead and coordinate with teams and vendors.

Demonstrated problem-solving and escalation handling skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Familiarity with portfolio management and risk analysis.

Ability to develop and implement effective collection strategies.

Proficiency in maintaining and managing accurate records.

Willingness to travel for customer/agency visits as required.
