Executive - Crop Production and Procurement

As a Farm Extension Services Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and enhance the Organic Contract Farming Area and the procurement of Agricultural Commodities. Your key focus areas will involve providing Farmer Advisory Services, organizing Contract Farming, and engaging in programs with Growers/Farmers to promote practices in Organic Agriculture. You will be in charge of sourcing Agriculture Commodities in alignment with the specified plan and parameters, ensuring both quality and pricing standards are met. It will also be your duty to expand the Area/Farmer membership for organic cultivation as per the set targets. Collaborating with the team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing a State-wise Business Plan to achieve Key Result Areas (KRAs) such as targeted Area, Volume, Buying Efficiency, and Documentation compliance. Additionally, you will be required to assess the team's performance based on key indicators and implement necessary measures to achieve the organization's Goals and Objectives. This position is based in India with locations including Madurai, Nawal Garh, Kadapa, Udgir, and Hubli. The ideal candidate should have a BSc in Agriculture with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in the local language is a must for effective communication and coordination with stakeholders.,
