Desirable Qualification
Any Graduate with added qualification in Post Graduate Diploma or MBA in Marketing, must have knowledge in Computer Basics (Word, Excel, Power point)
Experience
Must have min. 1-2 years experience in business development in the hospital & pharma industry is preferable

Duty Timing/ Hour
8hrs, to adjust leave or absence; for any emergency work timing can be extended as per requirement
DUTIES:
- Contacting potential doctors, identifying their needs, giving presentation on hospital’s treatment facilities and the USP of the hospital’s treatment quality and convincing them to send patients;
- Arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling;
- Regularly attending and making presentations to doctors in different hospitals and pharmacists in the retail sector. Presentations may take place in medical settings during the day, or may be conducted in the evenings at a local hotel or conference venue;
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administrative staff in the hospital;
- Keeping detailed records of all contacts and send a detailed copy in the designated format in daily, weekly and monthly reporting format.
- Reaching (and if possible exceeding) monthly and annual sales targets;
- Planning work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables with Reporting Head on future targets and business generation.
- Keeping up to date with the latest clinical data supplied by the reporting head, and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with him during discussion;
- Monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products;
- Maintaining knowledge of new developments in the national health service (NHS) and staying informed about the activities of health services in a particular area, anticipating potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapting strategy accordingly to make changes in marketing plan;
- Developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector;
RESPONSIBILITIES:
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
- Prepare a Schedule chart of all visit and Follow-up with existing doctors, ambulance drivers and other hospital or clinic staff for regular business.
- Prepare a monthly schedule chart of cold call and visit for new tie-up with clinics, diagnostic center and doctors in the assigned area for new business generation.
- Make calls daily and visit to doctors as per the schedule time and report to Sr. Manager – Trade Business.
- Maintaining good relations and understand with all doctors, ambulance drivers and other hospital or clinic staff who are giving business to us.
- Conduct promotional activities like Health Camp and CME in his area of operation for more business generation with expenditure details for the same.
- Prepare a report in end of the month for the next month’s new tie-up, business revenue target, no of patient admission both IPD & OPD.
- Visiting Doctors regularly for OPD & IPD Patient referrals.
- Visiting small diagnostic centers & Nursing Homes for Pathology & radiology Investigations business generation.
- Regular follow up visit to hospitals, nursing homes clinics in assigned area of operation for business growth and business revenue generation.
- Getting relationship with all the sources where hospital can get outside referral patients.
- Coordinating Pamphleting work in News paper.
- Collecting Ideas for extracurricular promotional activity & helping the management for executing the same for Hospital Branding.
- Organizing paid or free Health Camps in their operating areas on regular basis.
- Suggesting CME or Doctor Get-together party & executing the same throughout the year.
- Collecting Doctors Photographs, Birthday & Anniversary dates for the SMS wishes
- Wishing the regular feeders of Sparsh on their special occasions.
- Giving the doctor’s payments on daily basis.
- Taking initiatives in the Mass Event of the organization.
- Giving invitation letters for Sparsh annual events.
PATIENT SERVICE:
- Coordinate with patient and patient party to look after all lapses or extra benefits they are expecting in treatment of their patients.
- Coordinate with related departments to resolve patient grievance or to follow-up smooth treatment service is provided.
- Ensure proper availability of all services to the patients admitted for treatment.
- Meet patient’s relative in case they want to discuss with him for any treatment related issues.
- Ensure resolution of complaints related to patient’s treatment on immediate basis to maintain goodwill and patient satisfaction with TAT.
MEETINGS:
- Attend daily meeting with HOD on SKYPE as and when required regarding new retail development status, target achievement and performance status.
- Attend monthly review meeting with team, reporting head and Board of Directors in Corporate Office at the end of month.
- Attend other intra-department meetings as and when directed by management

TRAINING:
- Attend training on entire marketing procedure as and when conducted by HOD and management
OTHER ACTIVITIES:
- Be easily contactable, and able to reach promptly to hospital on emergency call.
- Discipline & Punctuality at work place.
- To assist in different activities as and when directed by HOD or Management from time to time.
- Shall perform any other duties allotted by the reporting authorities as and when required.
- Target of the individual shall be set by the reporting authority based on his area of operation and designation
REPORTS:
Send daily & monthly report to Reporting BDM or Asst Manager – BD. Send the following reports:
1. Status of target given for no of retail patients admitted and revenue generated under his name
2. No of visits and new retail empanelment
3. No of patient complaints attended
4. Tour Bills as per standard practice
5. No of promotional camps conducted with expenditure bills
