Role Overview: As a Digitalization Applications Specialist based in Mumbai, your primary role will be to drive market demand for the Digitalization product portfolio across various industries. You will be responsible for establishing technical credibility, leading discussions with key decision makers, and ensuring alignment between business requirements and use cases. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and actively participate in creating market pull for Digitalization product portfolio in diverse industries. - Establish technical credibility and drive discussions with key decision makers. - Provide technical guidance and ensure win-win alignment between business requirements and use cases. - Plan and execute configuration activities per design requirements, conduct conference room pilots, demos, POCs, and address queries related to requirements and solution design to bring pursuits to closure. - Promote Digitalization solutions in various industries, conceptualize solutions, design Industrial IoT projects, and support proposal development. - Lead small projects, contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives, and design and execute go-to-market activities aligned with business objectives. - Coach and support regional sales teams on technical enablement and value discovery methods. - Demonstrate progressive leadership in the full life cycle of solution delivery. - Must be willing to travel across India and possess strong communication, presentation, and CRM skills. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of industry experience with a minimum of 3+ years in the Industrial Internet of Things domain. - Techno-functional expertise in software product promotion, microservices, cloud enablement, and platform design. - Experience in Software Product Management, Engineering Management, and Platform Architecture is desired. - Knowledge of Cross-Platform Architecture in the Industrial Internet of Things space, working with platforms like AWS, Azure IoT Hub, PTC ThingWorx, and MindSphere. - Proficiency in driving Industry 4.0 solutions focused on Connected Products. - Familiarity with IoT Protocols (MQTT, AMQP, CoAP) and OT Protocols (e.g., Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, IEC 104), API, and Web Services. - Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with a focus on continuous innovation. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to develop business cases. Note: The education requirement for this role is a BE/B.Tech in Information Technology, Electrical/Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable field. A strong interest in IT Technologies, Manufacturing, IoT, and Industry 4.0 themes is also essential.
