Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting routine safety inspections across airside operations to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational safety protocols. - Identifying hazards during inspections and coordinating with relevant teams to address and mitigate safety risks effectively. - Documenting and reporting all safety-related incidents or near-misses, supporting investigation processes, and following up on reported incidents by implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. - Assisting in the preparation and execution of emergency drills, reviewing and updating emergency action plans, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and operational needs. - Conducting regular briefings and OHS training sessions with airside staff to reinforce safety protocols, distributing updated safety information and reminders to promote a culture of continuous safety awareness. - Maintaining accurate records of safety data, incidents, and inspections to support data-driven decision-making, performing basic analysis on safety trends to identify areas for improvement. - Conducting thorough investigations into safety incidents, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and assisting in the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies and procedures. Your qualifications should include: - Bachelor's degree in Aviation Safety, Aerospace Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field is essential. - Preferred Postgraduate Degree in Aviation Safety or Safety Management. - Certification Requirements: Airport Safety and Operations Specialist (ASOS), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Aerodrome Safety Management System (SMS) Training by DGCA. You should have 3-5 years of experience in aviation safety, airside operations, or a similar role within the aviation industry. Your key stakeholders will include internal teams such as Lead - Aviation Safety, Airside Operations Team, Engineering and Maintenance, Security Team, Compliance Department, and external stakeholders like Regulatory Authorities (DGCA, BCAS), Airport Concessionaires, Airlines, and Emergency Response Agencies.
