EXCHANGE ADMINISTRATOR
Position Description
Intermediate Exchange and M365 Support BAU & Project DeliveryResponsible for providing Exchange Server and Microsoft 365 (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online) support and administration for selected CGI clients. This includes Business As Usual (BAU) operations and Project delivery, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient messaging and collaboration services.DescriptionThis position will be responsible for providing advanced engineering, administration, and support for Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, OneDrive for Business, and SharePoint Online. The role requires deep technical expertise in M365 collaboration and productivity platforms, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient operations across the enterprise environment.The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong track record in Microsoft 365 implementations, migrations, and governance, combined with excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. The Systems Engineer will apply industry best practices, standards, and automation to optimize collaboration, drive adoption, and enhance the end-user experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 & Exchange Hybrid
. Administer, configure, and support Exchange Hybrid, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online.
. Provide end-to-end support for latest Exchange on prem version at the server level, ensuring uptime and performance.. Manage mobility platforms (BYOD, MDM), maintaining secure mobile access to corporate resources.. Execute M365 migration and integration projects, ensuring seamless coexistence and minimal business disruption.
Operational Support & Maintenance
. Maintain system and service availability as per Service Level Agreements (SLA).
. Perform system tuning, optimization, and health monitoring activities.. Respond promptly to incident tickets, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely status updates.. Manage and execute service requests and change records following established ITIL processes.. Provide on-call support as scheduled for business-critical systems.
Collaboration & Governance
. Implement and enforce governance, compliance, and security standards across Microsoft 365 services.
. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support collaborative projects and service improvements.. Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation and configuration records.
Process & Tools
. Utilize ServiceNow and other ITSM tools for incident, change, and problem management.
. Work within established Change Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management frameworks.. Participate in project coordination, contributing technical expertise and operational insights.
