Excellent Opportunity for BMC Engineer
Location: Noida
Experience Required: 4 to 9 Years
We are looking for an experienced BMC Engineer to join our firmware development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in developing and maintaining BMC (Baseboard Management Controller) solutions and working with embedded Linux environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain BMC software solutions including sensor monitoring, event logs, WebUI, and more.
Implement peripheral communication over SPI, I2C, UART, etc., in alignment with protocol specs and chipset datasheets.
Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable BMC firmware.
Develop comprehensive documentation including design specs, user manuals, and release notes.
5+ years of hands-on experience in C++ development on Linux for embedded systems.
Strong experience with BMC stack/software solutions and server power management via BMC.
Solid understanding of low-level hardware interfaces: .
Proficient in BMC IPMI 2.0: IPMI Messaging, SDR, SEL, FRU, SOL, IPMB, LAN, KCS, event log, PEF, ME, NM, PECI.
Experience with MCTP and PLDM protocols.
Demonstrated ability in hardware debugging and porting BMC to various hardware platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AMI SPX/OneTree product lines.
Exposure to DCSCM card architecture is a plus.
