Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Environmental Studies (EVS) to primary classes (I–V) as per the CBSE curriculum.
• Design engaging lesson plans and activities that develop awareness about the environment, health, hygiene, society, and sustainable living.
• Incorporate project-based learning, experiments, field visits, and hands-on activities.
• Prepare assessments, worksheets, and maintain accurate student progress records.
• Encourage participation in eco-clubs, environmental projects, and school events.
• Use innovative and digital tools to make learning interactive.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school academic meetings, workshops, and events.

Qualifications (as per CBSE guidelines):

• Graduation in Science/Environmental Science/Geography or a related subject.
• D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) or B.Ed. is mandatory.
• CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test – Paper I) qualification preferred.

Essential Skills:

• Strong knowledge of EVS concepts with an ability to simplify them for primary learners.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Creativity in designing student-centered learning experiences.
• Proficiency in ICT and smart-class teaching tools.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and classroom management skills.

Experience:

• 1–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school preferred.
• Freshers with the required qualifications and passion for teaching are encouraged to apply.

Remuneration:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, as per CBSE norms.
