About the Role

As Events Video Editor at YAAS!, you&aposll specialize in creating compelling video content from outdoor fitness events, wellness activations, and health-focused brand experiences. You&aposll transform raw event footage into engaging stories that capture the energy, motivation, and community spirit of fitness events. This role demands expertise in outdoor event challenges, dynamic action footage, and the ability to create content that inspires and motivates audiences.

Responsibilities

• Edit outdoor fitness events including marathons, cycling events, yoga sessions, wellness retreats, and brand fitness activations
• Create dynamic content showcasing athletic performances, participant journeys, and event highlights
• Handle multi-camera footage from various outdoor environments with challenging lighting and weather conditions
• Work with action cameras, drones, and professional equipment to capture movement and energy
• Collaborate with fitness brands and event organizers to understand key messaging and target audiences
• Apply color correction and audio enhancement for outdoor footage with varying conditions
• Create content optimized for fitness and wellness social media channels and communities
• Meet post-event deadlines for timely content delivery to capitalize on event momentum
• Maintain authentic storytelling that resonates with health and fitness communities
• Archive and organize event footage for potential future campaigns and content repurposing

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of video editing experience with focus on sports, fitness, or outdoor events

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and other professional editing software
• Experience editing action footage, movement sequences, and outdoor event content
• Understanding of fitness and wellness industry trends and audience preferences
• Ability to create motivational and inspiring content that drives engagement
• Knowledge of different export formats for fitness platforms, social media, and brand requirements
• Experience working with challenging outdoor footage including varying light conditions
• Strong organizational skills for managing large amounts of dynamic event footage
• Portfolio demonstrating fitness or outdoor event editing experience
• Basic understanding of fitness terminology and wellness industry standards
