About the Role

As an Events Video Editor at YAAS!, you&aposll specialize in creating compelling video content from live events and brand activations. You&aposll transform raw event footage into engaging stories that capture the energy and essence of each occasion. This role demands expertise in handling multi-camera setups, audio synchronization, and the ability to work with diverse footage captured in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

  • Edit event videos including conferences, product launches, corporate events, and brand activations
  • Handle multi-camera footage synchronization and create seamless transitions between different angles
  • Work with various audio sources including wireless mics, ambient sound, and presenter audio
  • Create highlight reels, full event coverage, and social media snippets from event footage
  • Collaborate with event teams to understand key moments and messaging priorities
  • Apply color correction and audio enhancement to footage captured in challenging lighting and acoustic conditions
  • Meet tight turnaround times for post-event deliverables and social media content
  • Maintain brand consistency across different event types and client requirements
  • Archive and organize large volumes of event footage for future use

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of video editing experience with focus on events, conferences, or live productions

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro or similar professional editing software
  • Experience with multi-camera editing workflows and audio synchronization
  • Strong understanding of event videography challenges including lighting variations and audio issues
  • Ability to identify and highlight key moments from lengthy event footage
  • Knowledge of different export formats for various platforms and delivery requirements
  • Experience working under tight deadlines with quick turnaround expectations
  • Strong organizational skills for managing large amounts of footage and project files
  • Portfolio demonstrating event editing work across different types of occasions
