Job Title: EV Swapping Station Operator

Location: Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru

Shift Duration: 9 Hours (Rotational shifts as per operations)

Role Summary

The EV Swapping Station Operator will be responsible for day-to-day operations, preventive maintenance, and ensuring uninterrupted uptime of EV battery swapping stations. This role requires a technically skilled, proactive individual who can handle on-site troubleshooting, safety compliance, and coordination with the central operations team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Station Operations

○ Manage daily operations of the EV battery swapping station(s) during the shift.

○ Ensure smooth customer experience for battery swapping.

○ Maintain cleanliness and safety of the station premises.

2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

○ Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance activities as per the schedule provided by the company.

○ Inspect ACDB, earth pits, fire extinguishers, LED boards, and other station components.

○ Conduct Megger/Earth tests every six months to ensure compliance with grounding standards.

3. Breakdown & Fault Management

○ Attend all breakdown calls and resolve issues within SLA timelines.

○ Raise tickets immediately for any faults or anomalies in the system.

○ Coordinate with third-party vendors for repairs when required.

4. Inventory & Asset Management

○ Maintain and monitor inventory of electrical spares and consumables.

○ Ensure accountability of all station assets; report any discrepancies immediately.

5. Reporting & Documentation

○ Maintain logbooks, records, and registers as per company guidelines.

○ Submit daily activity reports, including tasks completed, faults resolved, and any incidents.

○ Collect electricity bills and demand notes from the respective electricity boards and share them promptly with the company.

6. Compliance & Safety

○ Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including use of PPE and tools as prescribed.

○ Follow zero-tolerance policies for substance abuse, misconduct, or harassment.

○ Report any accident or injury on-site immediately and assist in statutory compliance procedures.

7. Performance Targets

○ Maintain 99% station uptime (excluding uncontrollable outages like power cuts, ISP issues).

○ Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance tasks and reporting.

8. Coordination & Communication

○ Stay connected with the central operations team via smartphone or prescribed applications.

○ Inform the company about any notices from electricity boards or government authorities.

Skills & Qualifications

● Education: ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related fields (mandatory).

● Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in electrical maintenance, EV infrastructure, or similar

roles.

● Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting skills, and

preventive maintenance practices.

● Soft Skills: Good communication, customer handling, and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Requirements

● Must have a smartphone with an active data connection for coordination and reporting.

● Should be physically fit and comfortable working in outdoor environments.

● Ability to work in shifts and during weekends/public holidays as required.

Shift Details

● Shift Duration: 9 hours per day (rotational).

● Work Schedule: 6 days a week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
