As an EV Expert with experience in 400V BMS, Charging Systems, and Battery Pack, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: Role Overview: You will be responsible for BMS architecture and system design, EV battery charging system design, and EV battery pack engineering. Key Responsibilities: - BMS Architecture and System Design: - Understanding and applying BMS software - Integrating BMS in Battery Pack & ePWT System - Developing BMS algorithms and conducting functional validation - Validating BMS on HIL System - Conducting hands-on experience in 400V BMS functional validation and testing - Applying experience with Electric Vehicle BMS applications and relevant automotive standards - Validating BMS using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation - EV Battery Charging System: - Designing and developing the overall EV charging system architecture - Understanding charging standards and communication protocols between EV, OBC, and charging infrastructure - Managing the integration of OBC within the vehicle - Developing and implementing control algorithms for the charging process - Optimizing charging profiles for battery health, charging time, and grid stability - Implementing safety features and fault detection mechanisms within the charging system - Executing comprehensive validation plans for the Battery Pack, OBC, and integrated charging system - Performing functional, performance, and reliability testing under various operating conditions - EV Battery Pack Engineer: - Testing and validating EV charging systems and OBCs - Understanding relevant automotive and safety standards for high-voltage systems - Knowledge of LFP, NMC based battery packs for EV Powertrain - Understanding battery pack electrical and mechanical design requirements - Integrating and testing EV battery packs - Preparing high voltage battery pack electrical specifications and system specifications Qualification Required: - B.Tech./ M.E.
