EV Charger Hardware Test Engineer

As part of the testing team, the candidate will contribute to testing and implementing advanced and smart chargers for electric vehicles. Key Responsibilities: - Testing and debugging smart chargers for electric vehicles. - Conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and developing/executing test plans to validate charger performance. - Collaborating with Hardware and Software teams to integrate chargers with electric vehicle powertrains. - Creating test reports and documentation. - Analyzing and interpreting data to identify areas for improvement and optimize system performance. - Providing technical support and troubleshooting charger-related issues. Required Education & Skillset: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics. - Strong understanding of basic Electrical and Electronics concepts. - Basic knowledge of embedded hardware and ability to comprehend schematics. - Hands-on experience in soldering (SMT/THC). - Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred skills: - Knowledge of popular SMPS topologies like flybuck converters, LLC, PFC, etc., and temperature monitoring & fault protection. - Understanding of charger types for electric vehicles such as onboard and portable chargers, battery types, and component knowledge.
